Hi Skye — I’m sorry to hear about Julian’s situation. Ewing’s Sarcoma is a very rare form of cancer so there is very little anecdotal information on treating it with cannabis oil. However, theoretically speaking, cannabis oil can work on any type of cancer because the biological mechanisms are the same: cannabis oil has antiproliferative, antiangiogenic, antimetastatic and apoptotic qualities.
First, here is a link to a website that publishes all cannabis related studies on different diseases. On the right side, you will see an alphabetical list of diseases. Although it doesn’t list Ewing’s Carcinoma, click on Bone Cancer.
Secondly, although New Zealand recently changed their medical cannabis laws, they still ban cannabis oil with THC in it. The one exception is Sativex but Sativex can only be prescribed for MS and their formulation only has 2.5 mg of CBD and 2.5 mg of THC which is too low to fight cancer. So your only hope is to go underground to find a trusted source that can make cannabis oil with high levels of THC. DO NOT buy oil by mail since it can’t be verified for potency and purity.
Once you find a trusted source, Julian should consume 1 gram a day. Don’t consume the 1 gram all at once, spread it out throughout the day with each meal as it is highly psychoactive. He will eventually get used to the “high”. Make sure his meals include LDL fats to increase the bioavailability.
Lastly, CBD has also shown cancer fighting properties. So he should incorporate it into his daily regimen with each meal. But again, DO NOT buy by mail, only buy it from trusted sources.
There are no guarantees that cannabis oil will send his cancer into remission, but at the very least it will offer palliative effects. I wish you the best.
